MYSTERY SHOPPING - can you make a living out of it?

Well I've registered with 3 Mystery Shopping sites online yesterday. You have to apply and meet certain criteria, but it's not hard to do. A little effort is needed to complete a short essay (don't be put off - it was easy!).

Here are the details of them:

I'd just like to say that you have to pay for information with a lot of different sites - I'm trying to do it the hard way - without forking out a stack of cash, and want to share the info with everyone in the UK.

INFORMATION FOR FREE ON HOW TO MAKE MONEY AT HOME !

1) RETAIL EYES - UK company.

https://secure.retaileyes.co.uk/uk/home/register_becomeshopper_register.php
Easy to register with - but this is the one that you have to put a bit of thought into! They ask you to write in your own words what qualities a good mystery shopper should possess! I put things like 'Attention to detail', 'Listen to the requirements of the assignment', 'ability to communicate clearly in writing', 'to want to improve service for customers'.

I have not had any jobs yet. I'll update the blog when I do.

2) MYSTERYSHOPPER.COM US company

http://www.mysteryshops.co.uk/shoppers/application2.asp

Although initial form to be filled in is simple, you have to pass a test to become an auditor. It is a US site, but there are no details about restricitons for the UK. I have to complete the test before I will be given assignments. I'll let you know when I get my first assignment!

3) PULSE - UK company.

http://www.fspulse.co.uk/applyonline/content/default.asp

There is a lengthy form to complete for these, and a little 'tell us about yourself' section. It's not hard, and again they can decline your application if you do not meet the qualities they are looking for. I talked about a history in customer service call centres, communication and eye for detail again!

I hope you found this information interesting and useful. None of these sites are affiliate marketing sites, so I don't get any money for introducing you to them.

Please let me know if you have made any money with Mystery Shopping in the UK, and if so - what sites you get the most work from !

ONLINE SURVEYS - Money or Myth?

I'm writing this because I'm sick of being blagged!
In the past 3 weeks I have registered with numerous online survey emails and websites in the UK. Lots of sites send to you various companies claiming you can live off doing this - I don't think you can, but it will help towards your credit card bills at the end of the month!

I'll do a write up each day for one of the companies that I have registered with.
Tests de produits et avis de consommateurs
1) Ciao.

It's easy and FREE to register with Ciao and there are a lot of surveys that come from them. I get about one a day from them, and the payments vary, but are on average 1.50. I've made about 11.00 in the past few weeks. (Won't break the bank - but ok considering I was sat at my PC anyway!) You can have the earnings transfered directly into your bank account - CASH ! I like that!
There is a great community on Ciao. There are lots of reviews for different things, and you get credits for writing a review. Everyone seems really nice! The banner above will take you there!

I'll be looking at a few more in the coming days - so come back and see if they are any good for making money!

2) LIGHTSPEED

I like this one. The surveys are interesting and easy to complete. You can get your rewards in PAYPAL - so CASH ! ! ! The surveys are about 110 lightspeed points and 115 points is one pound! You can redeem even just 1 pound! There are other things you can spend your points on too.
